Starting today (Saturday, October 15) we have apple butter for sale made from our apples. If you are looking for the taste of autumn in a jar, we have a treat for you. Our apple butter is thicker and darker than some, and that is on purpose. We take the time to carmelize the apples’ natural sugars, so we do not have to add any sugar to the apple butter. We are thrilled to announce that the Slaughter Orchard & Cidery Farmstand is now open! It has taken months of cleaning up to get to this point, but we are excited to be here. Stop by for cider by the glass, 1/2 gallon, or gallon jug. We also have apples by the 1/2 peck bag, grape jelly, farm fresh eggs, and mums.
