Description:
Each participant will leave with an understanding of how to make apple cider jelly at home. We will cover the importance of sanitation and proper canning techniques to insure a safe shelf stable product. Participants will help prep cider for canning, process cider for jelly, and can apple cider jelly. We will also discuss the process of making cider and the different types of cider available for making apple cider jelly and how they will affect the final jelly. We will also enjoy some hot cider as we work!

Ages:
10+ Needs to be able to use a sharp knife and follow directions. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
