Each participant will leave with an understanding of how to make apple cider syrup at home. We will cover the importance of sanitation and proper canning techniques to insure a safe shelf stable product. Participants will help prep cider for syrup making process, reduction of cider to syrup, and preserving the cider syrup. We will also discuss the process of making cider and the different types of cider available for making apple cider syrup and how they will affect the final syrup. We will also enjoy some hot cider as we work!
10+ Needs to be able to follow directions. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
